Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work: 1 day course

WHY DO I NEED THIS?

Where an organisation’s risk assessment of First Aid needs identifies that there is a requirement for Emergency First Aid at Work practitioners, then this national award in Emergency First Aid at Work satisfies the requirements of the regulatory body for First Aid – the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW FIRST?

This is an entry-level course and can form unit 1 of the three-day QA First Aid at Work qualification. Learners can progress from this to completing unit 2 and being awarded the First Aid at Work qualification.

Due to the practical nature of the first aid assessment, there are physical demands and learners must be able to demonstrate their skills as in a real-life situation. An example of this would be to demonstrate CPR on a mannequin at floor level.

It may be possible to allocate a reasonable adjustment to a learner who has a disability, medical condition or learning need. Please contact us direct to discuss your needs.

It is recommended that learners should hold a minimum of level 1 in literacy or equivalent to undertake this qualification.

Duration 1 day (6 hours)

Number of candidates – 12 maximum
